Edirol UM-550 5x5 MIDI interface The UM 550 provides 5 x 5 near zero latency MIDI interface/ MIDI patching (thanks to Edirol's excellent fast and stable MIDI data transmission realized by FPT).

As a 5-IN/5-OUT USB MIDI Interface, the UM-550 provides 80 MIDI channels for MIDI inputs and outputs. It has LED activity indicators. It can act as a stand-alone hardware MIDI Patcher with HDMR (Hardware Direct MIDI Routing)technology - with a Patch Memory for saving routing configurations.

It is possible to connect a total of four of these units at once to the computer, giving a total of 320 MIDI channels.
